The Charlotte Dress by Lady V London

As someone who gets ‘dressed up’ everyday, my wardrobe doesn’t feature a lot of casual attire. When I’m looking for something that I can dress down, I usually reach for a plainer style swing dress that’s also super comfortable.
I can tell that The Charlotte Dress by Lady V London is going to become one of my new go-to comfort dresses while still having the option of dressing it up too!

The Charlotte Dress is a new style to the Lady V London website and has a simple but flattering silhouette. Made out of a stretch cotton and featuring a scooped neckline, full skirt, pockets and matching waist tie, this dress is so comfortable!

The Charlotte style comes in a few different beautiful prints but this White Blossom Print is so summery and fresh. It features red, coral pink and a aqua blue with a tiny bit of green against a crisp white background.
You could choose any of these colours to pair with the dress, I focussed on bright pops of red!

For these photos, I dressed up the Charlotte with heels and lots of fun accessories but as mentioned earlier in the post, I believe it’s a extremely versatile dress and will look wonderful with ballet flats, casual hair and a sweet little cropped cardigan. I’m hoping to do lots of travelling while living in the UK so this will be perfect for travel.

Another thing I really love about The Charlotte Dress is that the hem comes to below the knee. If you are a regular reader of my blog then you’ll most likely have read in the past that my preference is always to have my dresses and skirts come below the knee. Not all of the Lady V London styles feature this so it was part of my reason for choosing the Charlotte. It fits my full Samantha petticoat underneath with no problems.

With Lady V London dresses, I tend to be between a size 10-12. Last year I ordered a size 12 in a dress with no stretch from Lady V and that was perfect however with this style, I think I could have easily sized down. I’m wearing a 12 which is a nice relaxed fit but if I wanted it more fitted, a 10 would have been fine too.

The Charlotte Dress is 97% Cotton and 3% Elastane, is £45 and comes in sizes 8-22.

  1. Thank you for sharing this dress! I just bought it in the same size plus the Macau Dress. On their website there is a current discount of 20% I think for the next two days. Plus shipping to the US is quite reasonable! Looking forward to receiving the dresses to see the quality compared to Pin Up Girl Clothing.

  2. I always look to your posts for sizing, as we are close to the same measurements, tho I do have a smaller breast size, I can get a good ideas what will fit and won’t. You always look grand.
