Estello Swing Dress | STOP STARING

A gal can never own too much leopard print, right? I certainly agree with this sentiment and I’m absolutely in love with my latest leopard addition.

The Estello Swing Dress in Leopard by Stop Staring Clothing is part of their latest season range. It is made out of a super comfortable stretch poplin fabric in a classic leopard print. The stretchiness of the material makes the dress so cosy to wear and another benefit? It doesn’t wrinkle too easily which I’ve been loving while I’ve been travelling!

The design of the Estello has enough character and sass while still being one of those styles where you don’t have to worry too much about what bra you need to wear. I don’t mind low cut styles every once and a while, but I 100% prefer it if a neckline isn’t one that can only be worn with one particular bra. It just makes mornings so much easier!

The neckline is about halfway between a scoop and a V neck, with gorgeous little bows on the shoulder. These bows are simply for decoration as they are sewn on top of a regular strap but to be honest, I prefer it that way. Inevitably, straps that actually have to be tied always loosen up with wear.

The skirt of the Estello is gathered at the waist and is a decent length. As always, my ideal length is more mid-calf but this length, just below the knee, is more than fine. I’m wearing a size small in this style which fits great in the bust, is (as usual) a tiny bit big in my waist and the only fit issue I have with this dress is that it’s a 1-2″ too short in the waist for me. This is a trend I’ve found with most Stop Staring swing styles but usually adding a belt helps to disguise the problem. For reference, my measurements are currently 35-26-42.

Thank you so much to Tigz Rice for these gorgeous pictures at Fontaine’s! The leopard print contrasting with the gold and blue d├ęcor was a rather unexpected fabulous combination!
